This viral date bark recipe combines medjool dates, peanut butter, chocolate and nuts. It tastes like a Snickers bar and is the perfect healthy treat to keep stocked in your fridge. If you like our stuffed dates, we promise you will love this.
Ingredients:
12 Medjool Dates
4 Tbsp Peanut Butter
10 - 12 Roasted & Chopped Hazelnuts
100g Dark Chocolate
1/2 tsp Coconut Oil
Sea Salt
Method:
1) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay out the pitted medjool dates flat on the baking sheet, close, but not overlapping.
2) Spread a layer of peanut butter on top.
3) Sprinkle the chopped hazelnuts over the peanut butter-layered dates (keep some hazelnuts for sprinkling on top).
4) In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate with the coconut oil.
5) Spread the chocolate mixture over the dates.
6) Top with sea salt and more chopped hazelnuts.
