There's evidence to suggest that eating 6 dates per day in the lead up to your due date can help with your delivery and reduce the risk of tearing. Let's be honest, 6 dates is a lot to get in! With this smoothie, it's quite easy though. It makes for a really delicious drink that tastes like a dessert. So, we hope you enjoy.
Ingredients:
6 Medjool Dates
1 Frozen Banana
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1 Tbsp Cacao Powder
1 Tbsp Flaxseed
200ml Coconut Milk (or milk of choice)
Ice
Method:
1) Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Enjoy.
