Making these delicious crackers couldn't be easier. They are simply made with seeds and water. As well as tasting great, they are full of fibre and healthy fats.
They make the perfect addition to a cheese board this Christmas and would even make a gorgeous gift when visiting friends or family.
Ingredients:
100g Sunflower Seeds
75g Pumpin Seeds
75g Flaxseed
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
250ml Water
Good Sprinkle Salt
1 Tsp Dried Rosemary (optional)
*Instead of rosemary you could use some grated parmesan for a cheesy flavour
Method:
1) Combine the seeds, salt and rosemary (if using) in a bowl and mix.
2) Add the water, stir well and allow to sit for 20-minutes to absorb.
3) Preheat oven to 150 degrees.
4) Line a tray with baking parchment and spread the seeded mixture out. The thinner the mixture, the crispier the crackers will be.
5) Bake for 1hr, keeping an eye towards the end of cooking.
We like to break the crackers into pieces, but if you want a more symmetrical cracker, you can cut them after 30-minutes of baking and then return to the oven for a further 30-minutes.
Enjoy.
