If you like a rich, fudgey, decadent treat, but of course made with clean ingredients, then look no further. These chocolate date balls have gone viral for a reason. They are so easy to make and so delicious.
Makes 6-8 balls
Ingredients:
100g Oats
2 Tbsp Cacao Powder
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
8 Medjool Dates (pitted and soaked in boiling water (soak while you prep the other ingredients - just a few minutes will soften the dates enough))
Topping:
70g Dark Chocolate
Sea Salt
Method:
1) Add the oats to a food processor and blend until a flour-ish consistency.
2) Drain the dates and add along with all the remaining ingredients to the food processor and blend until smooth and well combined.
3) Roll into 6-8 balls, depending on the size you want, and place on a plate lined with parchment.
4) Drizzle with the melted chocolate and top with sea salt.
Enjoy.
