Second Trimester Classes

Every pregnancy is different, so we recommend checking with your GP or Consultant to ensure they are happy for you to continue with exercise at this time.
We also recommend watching our Pregnancy Introduction video before beginning the classes.

During your second trimester, there are some modifications you will need to make to the classes. We recommend avoiding exercises on your back, especially core work. With a growing bump, there’s pressure on our tummy muscles, and by doing sit ups or ab work on our back, it increases the pressure on our tummy muscles, which can exacerbate a separation. Aside from this, we know from your feedback that lots of Moms-to-be simply aren’t comfortable on their back, so we tend to leave out all exercises in this position in our Prenatal classes.
So, after 12 weeks, we recommend sticking with our Pregnancy specific classes. This way, you don’t need to worry about modifying exercises.
As always, pick classes that feel right for you and how you’re feeling.

  • Barre & Sculpt - Pregnancy Friendly

    SATISFY/CHALLENGE This is a full body Barre & Sculpt class. It's pregnancy friendly, but anyone can do this class.
    Equipment: Chair

  • Full Body Strength 6 - Pregnancy Friendly

    SATISFY/CHALLENGE This is a full body strength class that is suitable for any Moms-to-be on the platform. Aoife uses 4kg hand weights, but you can go lighter or heavier depending on how you're feeling.
    Aoife is 20-weeks pregnant in this class.

    SATISFY/CHALLENGE This is a full body strength class that is suitable for any Moms-to-be on the platform. Aoife uses 4kg hand weights, but you can go lighter or heavier depending on how you're feeling.
    Aoife is 20-weeks pregnant in this class.

  • 27-Minute Strength - Pregnancy Friendly

    SATISFY/CHALLENGE This is a full body strength class, suitable for everybody, including Moms-to-be.
    Equipment: 2kg/3kg/4kg or 5kg hand weights (Aoife uses 4kg).

  • 30-Minute Sculpt - Pregnancy Friendly

    SATISFY This is a full body sculpt class to help you feel stronger and more aligned. Suitable for Pregnancy.
    Equipment: Ankle weights, hand weights, Pilates ball
    *class can also be done without equipment

  • 30-Minute Sculpt 2 - Pregnancy Friendly

    SATISFY This is a full body sculpt class to help you feel stronger and more aligned. Suitable for Pregnancy.
    Equipment: Hand weights, band
    *class can also be done without equipment

  • 28-Minute Sculpt 3 - Pregnancy Friendly

    SATISFY This is a full body sculpt class to help you feel stronger and more aligned. Suitable for Pregnancy.

  • 8-Minute Meditation with Daniella

    SATISFY Daniella takes us through a beautiful transcendental meditation practice. We will use a mantra, to provide the mind with a single pointed focus, meaning if you typically find it difficult to focus, this mediation is perfect for you.
    No equipment needed.

  • 15-Minute Arms 1

    CHALLENGE This class will sculpt and tone your arms! Aoife uses 2kg hand weights.1kg or 1.5kg will work really well too. If you don't have weights at home, improvise with tinned cans or water bottles.

  • 15-Minute Arms 2

    CHALLENGE This class will BURN and tone your arms! Aoife uses 2kg hand weights.1kg or 1.5kg will work really well too. If you don't have weights at home, improvise with tinned cans or water bottles.

  • 15-Minute Arms 3

    CHALLENGE This is an up tempo class that will really work the arms! Grab your hand weights and get ready to feel the burn! Aoife uses 2kg weights.

  • 15-Minute Lean Legs

    CHALLENGE This is a quick efficient class that will really challenge the legs in order to strengthen and tone. Get ready to feel the burn!

  • Lean Legs

    SATISFY/CHALLENGE This standing legs focused class will really have you feeling the burn. If you are looking to lean and tone the legs, this class is for you. Do it on it's own, or add another shorter class to create a longer workout.

  • Low Impact Cardio

    SATISFY This Cardio class is low impact so it's the perfect way to get the heart rate up, without any jumping exercises.
    This class is Prenatal friendly so for any moms-to-be, this class is suitable for you.

    SATISFY Get your heart rate up without any jumping or impact exercises.
    This class is suitable for Beginners and our Prenatal members!
